Cummins College of Engineering for Women at Nagpur was started with funding of Rs. 8 Crores from Cummins India Foundation specifically to empower women of Vidarbha region of Maharashtra.

The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and Government of Maharashtra, affiliated to RTM Nagpur University. The College has Management Leadership of Shri Sudhakar Kunte who is retired GM from ONGC and has dynamic leadership of Dr. Bharatbhushan Joshi who is ex-DRDO scientist having 27 years of experience in R&D, Industry & Academics.
